Perchloric acid 50% ACS is a mineral acid with the chemical formula HClO4. It is usually found as an aqueous solution and mass fraction is 0.5. This colorless compound is a stronger acid than sulfuric acid and nitric acid. It is miscible with water. Perchloric acid (HClO₄) at 50% concentration is a strong acid and powerful oxidizing agent used in various laboratory applications.
